Dilip Sadarangani appointed as Chairman of Federal Bank
South India based private sector lender Federal Bank appointed Dilip Sadarangani as the part-time Chairman. He has been on bank’s board since 2013. The appointment of Mr.Dilip Sadarangani who has been guiding person in technology in multiple banks, as Chairman of the board of Federal Bank comes at a time when the bank makes confident strides in gaining market share in India.


South India MSME summit 2019 held in Bengaluru
southern Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Association organized the South India MSME Summit-2019 at Bangaluru. Basavaraj S Javali chaired the event. Dubai International (DXB) airport became the world’s busiest airport for international passengers for the fifth consecutive year. Dubai International (DXB) shows an increase of 1% in passenger traffic when compared to previous year. It is the slowest growth for Dubai Airport in the past decade.


RBI to Inject Rs 37,500 Crore Through OMO in February
The Reserve Bank of India has stated that it will inject Rs 37,500 crore into the system through the purchase of government securities in February to increase liquidity. RBI stated that it has decided to conduct the purchase of government securities under Open Market Operations (OMOs) for an aggregate amount of Rs 375 billion in the month of February 2019 through three auctions of Rs 125 billion each during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th week.


Kartik Sharma won New South Wales men’s Amateur Golf Championship
Kartik Sharma won the New South Wales Men’s Amateur Golf Championship held in Australia by defeating Australia’s Nathan Barberie in the scheduled 36-hole final. He is playing for India as a part of National Squad since the age of 10.
