Cultural Quota job vacancies in North Eastern Railway

(a) Classical Music-01 post

(b) Classical Dance- 01 post.

Essential Qualification:
A. Essential Educational Qualification: For Technician-III, Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI in relevant trade (Recognised by th SCVT/NCVT) and for other posts, 12 or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. The compulsion of 50% marks in aggregate will not be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates and th candidates possessing qualification higher than 12 or its equivalent.

Essential Cultural Qualification: Candidate should possess Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in the relevant field of Music/Dance as the case may be from a Government recognised Institute. Desirable Qualification: (i) Experience in the field and performance given on All India Radio/Doordarshan etc. (ii) Prizes won at National level.

Age:
18 to 31 years.

Examination Fee : (i) For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below: Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred only). (ii) For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, Persons With Disabilities (PwDs),Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs-250/-(Rs. Two Hundred Fifty only),which will be refunded to those candidates who actually appear in the written examination. Fee will be deposited online as provided on the online application page

Recruitment Process : The candidates found prima facie eligible for recruitment will be assessed on the following basis: (A) Written Test(Note : The written test will consist of 50 objective type questions)- 50 marks
