IIMS considers the GMAT scores of the candidates living abroad in lieu of CAT -2019 score.
An Indian citizen living abroad (studying or employed) will qualify as an overseas candidate for the purpose of considering themselves for admission only if the period of stay is not less than 18 months (as on 31st January, 2020). Please note that there is no reservation for overseas candidates and the offer of admission will be made solely on the basis of merit as in the case of other applicants taking CAT-2019.
How to apply:
Application form is available in the Institute’s Website https://www.iimshillong.ac.in/admissions/pgpadmissions/ (Apply for PGP (2020-22)- Overseas Candidate). The filled in form should reach IIM Shillong not later than 31st January, 2020.
The application form needs to be filled in and must be e-mailed to [email protected] as an attachment. Thereafter, the applicant has to take a print of the filled in application form, put his/her signature on the proper place, and send it to the following address along with the necessary enclosures to The Admissions Officer, Indian Institute of Management, Mayurbhanj Complex, Nongthymmai, Shillong 793014, Meghalaya, India.
